In my journal journey am going to be blogging with what people want to see. Updating the masses with news to really know what happening in the world. As we know that not everyone has interest in news or anything happening in the world, so in that case i'm going to accommodate them with other things such as sports,royals,lifestyle,entertainment and also writing articles about people's affairs as well.

People who really like to watch movies and also series anything worth tv entertaining will really have a sense of visiting my blog regularly,because that's what i will focusing more about. As for record people really like being entertained with events will be very much updated as we know that events are one of the top trending updates in the world telling what's going to be happening in the event, what celebrities will be there in the event. Giving them update early with what they should expect in those events they are interested in.

Updating people in the world is very crucial cause they stay updated on news items as they unfold. By reading newspaper on a daily basis, you're better equipped to form opinions on things that are currently happening, and you're also likelier to be prepared if a event has a direct impact on your life.

South Africa have many victims who suffer from substance abuse. As we know that drugs also affect the youth society and many people have died because drug abuse.

Linda Ciko is a 25-year-old street vender who sells fruits and vegetables, he says drug addiction is a use of drug or thoughts that can harm an individual or others. When someone uses legal or illegal substances in ways you shouldn’t. People get into drugs because of the environment that might impact substance abuse, peer pressure from friends or family members or social media platforms. According to Linda the way he sees things people have the sense of always thinking about drugs or how to make capital for drugs.

People have been found in rehabs because of drugs or substance abuse that’s the way to overcome drug addiction, and there are other ways of overcoming drug abuse and addictions explore your addiction treatment options. Without treatment, drugs can be dangerous for your body in different ways. They can have short term and long-term effects, which can affect you both physically and psychologically.

People need to have knowledge about the risks and harms that come along with these substancesin order to use precaution to help them stay safe and reduce harm. Mind you not everyone who uses drugs or alcohol wants or needs help. People who use drugs for a long period of time can develop dependance and tolerance to it.

Trauma related to mental health disorders, feelings of fear or guilt, many people who are scarred by traumatic events such as horrible accidents, sexual assault, sudden death of a loved one will turn to drugs to try to forget bad and horrible things they witnessed said Kwanelisiwe Nkabinde. It is considered as brain disorder, because it involves functional changes to a brain circuit in reward of stress and self-control.

Karabo Molefe says problems of thinking clearly and loss of muscle control it takes maturity and being serious because addiction is a serious thing to overcome. Drug addict is a chronic and relapsing brain disorder that features drug seeking and abuse, despite their harmful effects.

Depressed people choose alcohol and drugs in order to calm their nerves and to get rid of their sadness. They use alcohol and drugs to escape their problems and pain but these problems likely get worse in the long run. It’s the reason people get addicted.

“It is a disease that affects a person’s brain and behavior and leads to an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drug medicine substance such as alcohol, marijuana, prescription medicine (pain pills, anxiety pills and Crystal meth”, said Kelvin Smith who is a cashier at Woolworths.

According to Puleng Mothupi the behavior change may also indicate drug or alcohol addiction and these include problems at work or at school; poor performance at school regarding the youth and not cooperating very well. To overcome all this, build meaningful free life and you need to change your environment and lifestyle.

3 Idiots Movie Review

3 Idiots is a comedy-drama film released in 25 December 2009. The movie is produced and edited by Rajkumar Hirari, this film is based on a novel “Five Point Someone written by Chetan Bhagat. This film simply symbolizes the education system used and they pressure those students in India face at home and in school.

The story begins with the enrollment of three students from Imperia College of Engineering named Raju Rastogi, Farhan Qureshi, and Rancho who share a room in housing provided by the institution. Newcome Rancchoddas, as his friends affectionately refer to him.

Rancho mentors his friends on a number of life mantras in addition to guiding them through the maze of India's competitive, high-pressure, rote-heavy, illogical, and almost brutal educational system.

The principal of Imperia College of Engineering Prof Viru Shahastrubuddhe whom student call “Virus” always tries to put pressure on his students and advise them to study hard to get better grades. Farhan, Rancho's friend, is studying engineering instead of wildlife photography to fulfill his father's wishes, and Raju is studying to increase his family's wealth. Rancho advises them to think about and assess their passion in order to succeed in life.

Rancho who has recently turned to be Prof Viru’s enemy become the highest student followed by Chatur who is Virus’ favorite. He motivates and encourage his friends,  Farah and Raju to keep on doing their best. “Chase excellence, success will follow you, pants down”.

When a student named Joy Lobo commits suicide after failing to meet a project deadline, Rancho confronts Virus about the extreme pressure placed on ICE students but is rudely rebuffed.

Farhan and Raju are scared into bunking with Chatur "Silencer" Ramalingam, a competitive, arrogant student who believes in learning by rote memorization after an infuriated Virus points out the modest financial situations of their families.

Rancho stands out from the other students in the college with his individualistic way of thinking and rebellious attitude, which invites the ire of the college dean and affection of his daughter Pia (Kareena Kapoor).

The chemistry between Rancho and Pia is so great as it makes the movie a pleasure to watch. The special bond amongst the 3 idiots namely Rancho, Raju and Farhan are very strong in such an extent that one would think these are biological brothers. We witness this when Raju was supposed to snitch if he was with Rancho at  the Dean’s house, or he will be rusticated from Imperia College of Engineering.

In the movie, Rancho played not only one of the smartest but also the most optimistic of the group. He lives according to his own set of rules rather than following the dictates of society. He was the only one of the three who had never been afraid to do the right thing while Raju was portrayed as a devout Christian. Raju has a lot of fears in the movie. And as a result of this fear, he gets good grades. He also constantly asks for Go's assistance due to his fears.

The thoughtful dialogues that touch on a variety of academic topics—grading systems, parental pressure, student suicide, conformist coaching, and theoretical knowledge—without ever becoming preachy also represent many of the writers' ideologies.

The film's soundtrack is composed by Shantanu Moitra with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire. “The All Izz Well” stimulates the happy emotions of happiness and laughter amongst students but in some cases, it turns to be serious. The movie features another brilliant student Joy Lobo who had an amazing project but could not finish it on time. Once he receives the news from Dr. Viru, he won't graduate; we are introduced to a very sad and melancholy song.

This movie is made by everyone who works behind the camera. Extraordinarily the director Hiarani makes a wonderful showing to present the film impeccably. The cinematography by C.K. Mularaledhar is fantastic. The flash backs of past event and current event in the movie makes the movie exciting as one get to enjoy and understand the transition on event.

In the case of Lomo’s suicide, the invention shows Lobo commit suicide in his room, the camera use "slow motion" to film this scene to lengthens the duration of the action. This shows the audience the contrast the scene from joy to become sad while in other scenes they used fast motion.

Rating and Recommendations

I give this movie 9/10 rating as it has good quality pictures and camera skills used, the educational value is at its standard, the message and content were emphasized throughout the whole film. Good dialogues that keep it real.

I only criticize the movie for being predictable and there is exaggeration in some scenes that’s for the remaining point .I have learnt a lot from this movie, I should always consider pursuing a career that I’m passionate about and not choosing something because I want to impress my family and friends. I highly recommend people 13 years and above to watch this film as there is disturbing content. And it is one of the best movies I’ve ever watched.

Africa Check is a fact-checking group with an African base that distinguishes between genuine and false news items by highlighting significant public remarks, comparing them with the strongest supporting data, and releasing fact-checking reports.

The group held a training session for TUT Journalism students to instruct them on the process of fact-checking. Carina van Wyk, an organization representative, was in charge of leading the session. She claimed that one of the best things about fact-checking is that it encourages responsibility and works to make sure that the public receives news of the highest caliber. Additionally, it shields us from being susceptible to bogus news because of things like mental bias.

She stated that it is crucial to determine whether a claim can be verified or if it is merely an opinion before beginning the fact-checking process. If it can be verified, define terminology and concepts used in the claims before locating the original source and verifying the content. To do this, one can check up the legal and scientific definitions of the terminology as well as earlier instances of their use. Then, utilizing up-to-date, trustworthy information, one should examine the evidence, perhaps by speaking with professionals who can vouch for it. Finally, evaluate the data and draw a conclusion.

Many of the participants found the training session to be beneficial as they learned the significance of not simply using every piece of information that comes to you or that piques your attention, you need to do some research on the facts first.
